We brought the world to Colorado Springs this March! We hosted four International Visitor Leadership Programs focused on different topics such as Combatting Drug Addiction: Legal and Healthcare Approaches, U.S. Political-Military Affairs Framework: Policy and Process, Civic Engagement through Volunteerism and Cybersecurity. During the month, 30 current/emerging leaders from 14 different countries met with 25+ Colorado Springs-based professionals and organizations to explore, innovate, and collaborate cross-culturally within their career fields.

This fantastic group of women came all the way from Moldova to engage with fellow civic-minded organizations in Colorado Springs. Through their meetings with the Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission and Pikes Peak United Way, they learned how they might enhance elements of volunteerism in their country. A spontaneous tour of our Pioneers Museum further demonstrated the benefits of volunteering as a means of preserving cultural and social history.

Cybersecurity professionals were emersed in this growing industry and shared dialogue surrounding the rise of artificial intelligence, the dilemma of policy and regulations, and the need for defense strategies. They met with organizations like Catalyst Campus, National Cybersecurity Center, Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center and FirmaIT Solutions to engage in discourse around these topics.

Due to privacy concerns, we are unable to disclose delegation information surrounding the following projects: Combatting Drug Addiction and U.S. Political-Military Affairs Framework. We would like to highlight and thank the community partners this group met with including: Colorado Springs Police and Fire Department, The Sanctuary Church, The Phoenix, Dale House Project, Ryan Pappas Foundation, We Face it Together Colorado, U.S. Northern Command and U.S. Airforce Academy!

Thank you to our wonderful community partners! We could not do this work without you.
