The Colorado Springs World Affairs Council is proud to welcome local institutional partners and young professionals to join the CSWAC community as part of our Not Yet Retired (#NYR) Young Professionals cohort. The Young Professionals committee meets quarterly to plan educational, networking, and volunteer events for members that complement the organizations programs and mission.
Our mission is to bring speakers from around the country and world with compelling stories and experiences to help Young Professionals understand the world around them from a truly global perspective. Often times seemingly distant and unrelated international affairs issues have a direct or indirect impact in Colorado Springs.
Past events include hosting Raha Moharrak- the first Saudi woman to summit Mt. Everest, “Summer School” Pub talks with local professors, movie nights and panel discussions on topics ranging from Human Trafficking or Immigration.
This group is looking for young people in the Colorado Springs community who have an interest in international affairs, have an appreciation for cultural diversity, and would like to plan engaging events and social gatherings. For more questions, please contact us by email at email@example.com.
We welcome you to join our email list! (click here)
