Announcing: Academic WorldQuest Topics 2017-2018

The Carlos and Malú Alvarez 2018 Academic WorldQuest National Competitionwill be held in Washington, DC on April 27-28, 2018.  The Topics this year are: NAFTA, ASEAN at 50, India’s Bid for Global Power, Combatting Climate Change, Cybersecurity, Saudi Arabia, Great Decisions, The Peacebuilding Toolkit, America’s Diplomats, and Current Events.

Event Details:

The national competition is attended by more than 225 of the nation’s most promising high school students each year, along with their parents, teachers, and chaperones. The 4-hour AWQ competition is a unique opportunity for students to visit the nation’s capital for the first time. A weekend of substantive programming is included to enhance the experience.
